Tourmakeady Wood parkrun

🥳 🎉🌳 WE’RE TURNING ONE!

This Saturday, 15th August, we’re celebrating the 1st anniversary of Tourmakeady Wood parkrun/park walk!

What a year it has been! A huge THANK YOU to everyone who has walked, jogged, run, volunteered, supported, cheered, and helped make our Saturdays so special.

❤️💚 And because we’re still in the mood to celebrate Mayo GAA mind-blowing All-Ireland win, we’re inviting everyone to wear red and/or green this Saturday. It could be your Mayo jersey, your favourite running T-shirt, or simply bring along a Mayo flag.

☕️🍰 Once we’ve crossed the finish line and caught our breath, we’ll head over to Caife Glas ☕️ to relax, enjoy a cup of coffee and some cake, and celebrate this amazing first year together.

🎻🪗 Also, don’t forget to check out Ceol Na Locha for the final sessions of this week’s festival.

So, whether you’re walking, jogging, running, enjoying some cake, or soaking up the music… we’ve got your Saturday sorted.

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us yesterday for our parkrun/park walk! We had such a fantastic crowd, and the atmosphere was absolutely amazing. It was brilliant to see so many familiar faces, as well as plenty of new ones enjoying Tourmakeady Wood.

Mayo is THE county to be in this weekend, as SAM MAGUIRE settles in its new home. And ... Tourmakeady Wood is THE Parkrun to be in tomorrow, 9.30am 1st August. Bring your sisters and brothers, mothers and fathers, aunts and uncles, sons and daughters, friends and relations, and family dogs if you have them. It's a great little Parkrun ... for walkers, joggers and runners. Great coffee and a treat at Caife Glas in the village is your reward. Fáilte go Coill Thuar Mhic Éadaigh!!!

Hi everyone. The heatwave may be over (temporarily), but the light drizzle forecast tomorrow will be just about perfect for a Saturday morning run/job/walk at our beautiful Tourmakeady Wood Parkrun. A great way to start the weekend. Potentially a monumental one for some in the West (guess what I mean?!?). Come and join the fun, see you for 9.30am start tomorrow. And a fab coffee and treat afterwards at Caife Glas in the heart of the village. Fáilte romhaibh go léir!!
