We as a club are incredibly proud of Paul Kilcourse The Bike Clinic Castlebar. Paul raised €11k by completing his Pedal to Tee challenge in memory of his dad Michael Kilcourse Snr.

He presented cheques, alongside his wonderful mam Kay, to Order of Malta Ireland - Ambulance Corps - Castlebar, Castlebar Community First Responders , Ballintubber Ballyheane Community First Responders and Balla Community First Responders last night.

A number of our club members and members from other local clubs cycled with Paul that day too, thank you to everyone who supported him and made his challenge seem like well no bother at all 🚴🏻‍♂️🚴🏻‍♂️🚴🏻‍♂️

What an amazing day I had last Sunday in beautiful weather, cycling around mayo to all our golf clubs remembering my dad and raising much needed funds for The Order of Malta and Community First Responders.
The generosity of people knows no bounds so to every person, couple and family who donated in any way I am truly grateful and I will let everyone know what was raised in the coming weeks.
To everyone who joined me along the way, to the golf clubs who were so accommodating, to my helpers on the day, you were absolutely brilliant and made my day so much easier, to everyone who turned out at Castlebar golf club to cheer me home, all I can say is a huge THANK YOU to everyone from the bottom of my heart for making it an a day to remember.

An incredible achievement by Paul Kilcourse from Castlebar, who completed a remarkable challenge in memory of his late father by playing 10 golf courses across Mayo in a single day last weekend.

Paul teed off in Belmullet at 4:30am and finished at Castlebar Golf Club shortly after 7pm, cycling more than 260km between courses along the way.

The challenge has raised funds for a worthy cause, with supporters turning out across the county to cheer him on throughout the day.
