๐Ÿ—๏ธ Progress is happening...

Our new Gym & Strength & Conditioning facility is really starting to take shape, and we couldn't be more excited.

A huge thank you to everyone who has donated so far. Your generosity is helping turn this vision into a reality.

There's still work to do, and we need your support to get us over the line.

Every donationโ€”big or smallโ€”will help create a modern training environment where our youth and senior players can develop, get stronger, perform at their best and continue to make Malahide RFC proud.

This is an investment in the future of our club and the next generation of players who will wear the black and yellow.

If you can donate, we'd be incredibly grateful. If you can't, please share this post with your family, friends and local community.

๐Ÿ“ฐA Blast from the Past โ€“ January 1996

As we continue to uncover pieces of Malahide RFC history, this fantastic newspaper clipping from January 1996 recently resurfaced, featuring two familiar faces from the clubโ€™s golden era โ€“ Martin Crothers and Alun Brophy.

The article captures a remarkable period in the clubโ€™s journey. This was the team that went on to win Leinster League Division 4 and Division 3 in successive seasons, losing just one league game across two years โ€“ an incredible achievement that helped establish Malahide RFC as one of the leading junior clubs in Leinster.

The success of that group eventually saw the club progress to the All-Ireland League, where Malahide proudly competes today.

Martin, pictured prominently in the article, remains heavily involved with the club and currently oversees the business side of MRFC. His commitment to Malahide has spanned decades, both on and off the field.

Also featured is Alun Brophy, carrying the ball in the action photograph. Alun is a true club stalwart whose contribution to Malahide RFC has been immense over many years, serving as a player, former President, and Grounds Manager. Few people have given more of their time and energy to the club.

Itโ€™s fantastic to look back on moments like these and celebrate the people who helped build the foundations of the club we enjoy today.

If you have any old photographs, newspaper clippings, programmes, jerseys or memorabilia, weโ€™d love to see them as we continue to preserve and share the rich history of Malahide RFC.

๐Ÿ–ค๐Ÿ’› From Malahide Minis to the URC Final at Croke Park!

Everyone at Malahide RFC would like to congratulate Alex Usanov on another fantastic milestone in his rugby journey.

Alex came through the minis and youth ranks at Malahide RFC before progressing to the Leinster pathway, and it was a proud moment for the club to see him named in the Leinster matchday squad for the URC Grand Final at Croke Park this weekend.

Alex was selected among the replacements as Leinster faced the Bulls in front of a packed Croke Park crowd.

Alexโ€™s rise from grassroots rugby in Malahide to the professional game is a testament to his hard work, dedication and commitment over many years.
He is a fantastic role model for all of our young players and proof of what can be achieved through passion, perseverance and enjoyment of the game.

We are incredibly proud to have played a small part in Alexโ€™s rugby journey and look forward to following his continued success in the blue of Leinster and beyond.

Congratulations Alex โ€“ your Malahide RFC family is behind you every step of the way! ๐Ÿ’ช๐Ÿ–ค๐Ÿ’›
