The 12.4 girls made the journey out to Herbert Park today to face Belmont FC in lovely sunny conditions. A great performance from the girls saw them bring the victory back home to Lusk, well done girls! Thanks to Belmont for having us.

Our 12.4 welcomed Railway union to Dun Emer, the first half, was a well-balanced game with both sides evenly matched.

In the 2nd half again, there was little between the teams. Lusk hit the bar with a free from Charlie P, inches from breaking the deadlock. Archie pulled off some good saves, and all the lads worked extremely hard off the ball. With 10 minutes to go, Lusk was awarded a free kick free at the edge of the box. Riggers steps up and hits a rocket into the top bin with his left peg to go 1 up.

The lads saw out the game and never stopped running.
