Louth Trail Runners

A huge well done to our Louth Trail Runners who competed in the Last One Standing held in Florence Court recently - a tough gruelling event where runners have 1 hour to finish the 4.2 mile route before lining up and going again on the hour every hour. This happens every hour until there is only one runner left. This runner is the last one standing the winner!
Our very own Wayne Mc Guigan finished 3rd overall completing a new personal best of 50 loops! Joanne McCauley completed 19 loops!
Ronan Sharkey 13 and Colin McMahon 12. Amazing performances from all!

Louth Trail Runners were honoured to host the IMRA Cooley Half yesterday where we got to showcase all that this wonderful area has to offer! A challenging route with spectacular views saw 138 runners take on the 21k distance. The fabulous weather certainly helped too!

What an amazing day at the Wicklow Way Relay today, our team of 8 runners covered the 104km of the Wicklow Way in under 10hrs, finishing in 26th place overall 💪💪🏃‍♂️‍➡️🏃‍♀️‍➡️🗻

The IMRA Cooley Half takes place on 23rd May and opens for registration on Monday 11th May - only €20 for a fully marked and timed race. Amazing opportunity to experience the wonders of our beautiful mountains.
