Our Men’s Senior Team returns to pre-season training on Tuesday, 21st July at Bushfield (H62 K524).

Whether you’re an experienced player, returning to the game, or looking for a new challenge, we’d love to have you join us. This is the perfect opportunity to become part of a great club, make new friends, and be part of an exciting season ahead.

Loughrea got their 1st win of the season.
A goal from Shane Moran early in the 1st half was the difference at half time.
A good ball out of defence from James McDonnell found Martin Donohoe and with a deft flick - that Ronaldinho would be proud of - split the West defence wide open for Moran to run on to and beat the keeper at the near post.
A few chances for both sides but the keepers stood firm.
Lrea got off to a great start in the 2nd half, John O Rourke - taking a break from reffing duties, but still trying to assist the Ref Dean Lydon - pounced on the West defence who were caught playing it out from the back, rounded the Keeper and finished to an empty net.
2 nil Loughrea.
West pushed forward looking for an opening, they were gifted it when Loughrea conceded a penalty.
West made no mistake from the spot 2 - 1 game on.
West pushed hard for an equaliser, but Dave Meade stood firm with some cat like agility kept West at bay.
Final score 2 -1 for Loughrea
