What an exciting match we had today! 🎉

The team started strong, taking the first set with confidence. 💪 The second set was a tough one, and we lost it. We didn’t let that stop us, though! We came back with determination and won the third set. 💥 Unfortunately, the fourth set didn’t go our way, but we fought hard and secured the win in the fifth set! 🏆

This weekend promises exciting volleyball action as Longford Smashers host two important home games at the Community Campus in Edgeworthstown.

On Saturday, 11th April at 3:00 PM, the Men’s team (D3M) will compete in the Quarter-Finals against Octopus. This is a crucial match, and the team will be aiming to secure a place in the next stage of the competition with a strong performance in front of their home supporters.

On Sunday, 12th April at 3:30 PM, the Women’s team (D2W) will take to the court for Matchday 13 against Santry Cosmopolitan. With the season progressing, every game counts, and the team will be determined to deliver a solid result.

Both matches will take place at the Community Campus in Edgeworthstown, and supporters are encouraged to come along and cheer on the Longford Smashers for an exciting weekend of volleyball.
