Pain is temporary, Club pride is forever Limerick Triathlon Club is the longest running triathlon club in Ireland. The first event was organised in 1985 in St.
Founded in 1985 by a handful of people we now have more than 200 members. Enda's Sports Complex, in Limerick, with about 30 athletes. This was followed that summer by the first "Hell of the West" triathlon, where approx. 40 athletes came from far and wide to Kilkee's East End, to compete in the grueling triathlon, and dance the night away in the Atlantic Hotel.
