Just a snippet of Lexi working on receiving the ball on her weaker foot and striking with her stronger foot,the idea to trap the ball as close to her body as she can and get shots off quickly ,massive thanks to Lee,Sean and Dylan for their help throughout as goalkeepers we are trying to replicate match related situations and position specific drills to accommodate each individual player! Lexi plays as a winger and a striker and these one on ones will help her elevate her already impressive overall game,anyone looking for extra one on one coaching get in touch via WhatsApp!! We had a fantastic in-house blitz out in Caherconlish this evening we had over 90 kids boys and girls all playing matches and blitzes in lovely conditions it’s great to see so much talent within our Academy at the moment and some excellent and supportive parents too we are getting ready for a summer of football in big tournaments locally nationally and abroad,anyone looking to join our ever growing brand can contact us via WhatsApp

Well done to both ODFD Academy boys and girls squads who had a fantastic day of development at the Darren Egan Memorial tournament hosted by Aisling Annacotty,Our Girls squad managed by Ger Myles made it to the shield final and the only game they lost all day was in the final a 1 nil defeat to Regional United,Our boys squad managed by the duo of Mark Connors and Colin Higgins got a great tune from the team winning 4 games in a row (topping the group and winning the semi final)there only defeat came in the Cup Final! just losing out on pens to Corbally United,overall a great day of learning and development for all our team thanks to all the parents for supporting both teams on the day,and a massive thanks to Aisling for hosting a great event! well done to everyone ⚽️
