I have had such an amazing few days with the horses at the Dressage Ireland National Championships Castle Irvine Necarne, Enniskillen, Co. Fermanagh.

It was a great few days and I want to thank everyone that helped make this happen for me. The professionals, family and great friends who have helped and supported me for such a long time thank you all so very much. ❤️

To the two wonderful horses who have brought back two National Championships to Donegal all I can say is thank you too. 🐴 How lucky am I!!!!

When we began filming Rescued Hearts, we knew there was one question we wanted answered: “WHY HORSES?” What is it about horses that help a child speak their first words? Why do horses seem to reach us in ways that feel different from other animals? Why can I look into a horse’s eyes and feel as though part of my soul is being seen for the first time? So we sought out answers from those who live and breathe this connection every day. Their answers were beautifully different, yet each seemed to reveal another facet of the same deeper truth. At their core, they were speaking about trust, safety, presence, and the power of simply BEING. We hope you enjoy this sacred window into Rescued Hearts. This scene is foundational to the deeper journey of the film, as we take you with us to more than 31 cities around the world to explore this connection and why it is so remarkable. And trust me, you do not have to be a horse person to be moved by this film. As we’ve shared Rescued Hearts around the world, what I now know is that somehow, this film has a way of speaking to each person exactly where they are. Thank you to Alison and everyone Strule Valley Riding Club for a great morning yesterday. Such a lovely morning with great work and good fun too. This is another fabulous facility, it’s easily accessible with great parking.

We are so delighted and looking forward to being part of this wonderful programme with The No Barriers Foundation to bring Equine Assisted Activities to further children and their families throughout Donegal.

No Barriers Foundation is delighted to be building NEW PARTNERSHIPS with three brilliant Equine Assisted Therapy providers across Donegal:

Katie at Caring Capall, Falcarragh.
Mary and Stephen at Devine Equine, Newmills.
Linda at Glebe farm equine learning .

Together we are aiming to open up Equine Assisted Therapy time, to children and their families in the different Children's Disabilities Network Areas in Donegal and North Sligo.
A huge thanks to Loughlin and his Mum for sharing this wonderful fun experience with us. To Anna, Joe, Katie, Catherine and the beautiful horses Pepper and Betty Boo, who all were working happily in the background to ensure everyone had the best time.

Thanks to everyone for a great day with the South Donegal Branch of the IPC on the first day of their annual camp yesterday. Great to be back in the super facilities at Stracomer and enjoy the rest of the camp, the fun and great learning this week. Get the sun cream and water ready! 😎🐴
