Carlow Stages Rally🥹☑️
First event done in the new car, and first ever tarmac rally complete!!☑️
Plenty of positives to take away from the weekend including top 2/3 stage times with catching cars and valuable stage mileage across a mix of weather conditions and stages!😎
Unfortunately we had a small off on stage 4 which hampered our performance the rest of the day, but we still managed to finish the rally taking home valuable points and getting good experience in the harsh conditions☑️
The next round of the championship is in 2 weeks at the Circuit of Munster, and if it doesn’t go to plan, all roads lead to the hills for the big one🔰

As the 2026 season gets underway, I am proud to announce I will be competing in a left hand drive Honda Civic EG6 in the Junior category of the Irish Tarmac Championship and national championships!!
This is a big step forward in my career after competing in the J1000 category of Craig Breen Foundation Irish Forestry Championship, Motorsport Ireland Junior Rally Series and the RallySport Association championships, and one that I am very much excited for…!
We have big plans for our social media outlets including our TikTok, YouTube and Instagram pages, which will be a major part of how we get our sponsors names out, as well as full brand awareness on our rally car and team wear.

After a remarkable season of drama, excitement, high-speed commitment, and the odd dose of luck here and there, it was James McShea Rallying who won the 2025 Irish Forest Rally Championship J1000 title, and with it claimed the hugely coveted Craig Breen Foundation prize fund for 2026, an incredible opportunity for the Donegal youngster.
