What a great day for Ladies Soccer in Longwood AFC. Starting off the morning with the underage girls bringing home a victory of 4-2 against Kentstown! With some unbelievable skill and work rate! These young girls have gone from strength to strength under the guidance of Mark and Orla always willing to give 100% not just individually but for each other such a solid squad showing not just a love for the sport but friendship and always a great positive atmosphere.

Moving onto our senior Ladies who travelled away to Duleek AFC with a bare minimum squad making it a very hard, challenging, tiring game. However, the Ladies never gave up and battled to the end which resulted in a 2 all draw. The Ladies never gave up even when bodies were tired, they pushed through for each other. Unbelievable performance by the whole squad who all dug deep to secure the draw. A squad that always plays for each other! ⚫️🔴⚪️
