We are delighted to welcome this handsome ex racehorse to our yard !

Bullseye has an impressive pedigree, with Sadler’s Wells as his grandsire, alongside a brilliant racing career. We’re so excited to see what the future holds for this lovely boy and his amazing owners! 🐎

We’re taking things at his own pace and are looking forward to seeing him progress through this next chapter !

Welcome, Bullseye — we’re delighted to have you with us! 🎯🐎✨ Even when you sing along to the radio 📻 he loves Madonna !🤩

For someone who absolutely hates clipping, I came out of retirement to clip Jack Sparrow! 😂✂️

I wasn’t brave enough to tackle the legs on this round of clipping — I’ll leave that to the amazing Émer Lawlor, the horsey barber! He definitely likes her more than me when it comes to clipping, so I’ll let her take the glory. 😂

At least he’ll be comfy until she comes to the yard in October! It was all very civilised — I’ve still got all my limbs attached, so I’m calling that a good day! 😂

No Emmas were injured during the attempted clipping of the horse who absolutely HATES being clipped! 🐴✂️😂

Followed by Botanica International Ltd cleansing hot towel and 8 in 1 spray great way to ensure oil and any dander comes off coat post clip !

A great evening of training without the pressure! 🐴✨

Really enjoyed the Emerald Equestrian & Events Centre training show — a relaxed environment, a lovely course, and the perfect opportunity to get valuable practice in and focus on the areas we needed to improve.

These low-pressure rounds are such a great way to build confidence, refine the details, and prepare for the next step.

A huge thank you to Jack and Orlaith for a fantastic evening! 👏

🍂☀️ Autumn hacking at its absolute best!☀️🍂

What a brilliant post-work hack we had with all the horses 🐴🐴🐴🐴

Hacking is such an important part of our horses’ routine. It gives them a change of scenery, helps build confidence and sure-footedness, strengthens them over varied terrain, and provides a great balance to their schooling work. Most importantly, it keeps their minds fresh and gives them the opportunity to simply go out, stretch their legs and enjoy being a horse❤️

Our bark track is particularly brilliant for this — a lovely, forgiving surface that allows us to work on fitness, rhythm, balance and strength without everything having to feel like a formal schooling session.

Happy horses, beautiful autumn light and the perfect end to the working day. 🍁🐎✨

✨ Welcome to the yard, my two beautiful old friends. 🐴❤️

Some horses have a way of finding their way back into your life, and I couldn’t be happier that these two have found their way to me again.

💕 Flicka — a very special girl who was sold by my dear friend Amy a few years ago. Life took her on a different journey and we lost track of her, until somehow Amy found her again and bought her back. And now, I have the absolute pleasure of minding her and giving her a happy little home here at the yard. 🥰 What a story, and what a lovely feeling to have her back in our lives.

💕 Lilly — another dear old friend, who has now come to stay and be thoroughly fussed over and loved by my neighbour’s two kids. I have no doubt she is going to be absolutely spoiled rotten and adored. 🥹❤️

Two familiar faces, two lovely stories, and two very welcome additions to the yard.

Here’s to new chapters with old friends. Welcome home, girls. 🐴🌿❤️
