A message from Daithí:
As most of you know, our family had a heartbreaking loss this year when Sarah Egan passed away in May.
I am doing the Dublin Marathon to raise funds for Sarcoma Cancer Ireland with the hope that they will continue to research and improve developments into Ewing Sarcoma treatment into the future.

Suzie was a kind, caring, shy and beautiful person. When she got sick she showed amazing inner strength. She was a brave fighter especially in how she handled her illness in front of her family, in particular her nieces and nephews.

We as a family are forever grateful for the support we have received from the wider community over the past three months and hope that this kindness continues to be spread going forward.

Sarah was an adored and cherished daughter, sister, aunt, godmother, niece, friend, teacher and inspiration to all who were lucky enough to get to know her.

Once again we thank you as a family for your support and generosity and hope that Suzie’s journey can help others in their lives. 💛 🕊️
