🥈 Congratulations Denise! 🇮🇪🏀

Everyone at St. Bridget’s Basketball Club would like to congratulate Denise and the Ireland F45 Masters team on an incredible achievement, bringing home silver medals at the FIMBA World Championships for the second year in a row 👏🏻

After a fantastic tournament, the girls produced another outstanding performance in the Gold Medal Final, battling all the way against a strong Italian side before narrowly losing 65–54. The result doesn’t take away from what has been an exceptional few days representing Ireland with tremendous skill and heart 🖤💛🇮🇪

To reach back-to-back World Championship finals and claim consecutive silver medals is a remarkable achievement 🥳

Well done, Denise, on another unforgettable tournament. Your dedication and commitment continue to inspire our young players.

What a day for Ireland yesterday...

Huge congratulations to our F45 and M45 teams, who both delivered outstanding performances to claim silver medals after two thrilling Gold Medal Finals.

While the ultimate prize narrowly escaped them, both teams represented Ireland with incredible skill, determination and heart. Every player, coach, manager and supporter should be immensely proud of what they've achieved.

From everyone at Basketball Ireland Masters and back home in Ireland congratulations on a fantastic tournament.

And the journey isn't over yet...

Today, all eyes turn to our F40s and F50s teams as they take to the court in their own Gold Medal Finals. Let's get behind them as they chase more history for Ireland!
