After an incredible first summer, The Draft returns for Summer 2026.

We're now inviting boys and girls aged 13 to 16 from across Kerry to register their interest.

By registering, you'll be added to The Draft mailing list, giving you priority access to invitations for exclusive Draft events taking place throughout July and August.

Each event will feature:
🏀 Competitive games
🎯 Skills and shooting competitions
🥤 Refreshments
🏆 More surprises throughout the summer

🏀A busy close season period from April through May saw representative achievements with Kerry for U14 Mia, U17 Callum and U14 Mark in Inter Area competitions held in Limerick & Galway and Schools All Ireland success for Mia, Avery, Elisa and Coach Kelly in the Schools All Ireland Series in University Limerick.
Well done all. 👏

🏀 U14 Girls Invitational Tournament – Hosted by Killarney Cougars🏀

Our third tournament in a week took place on Saturday, March 28th, and what a fantastic day it was 👏

A huge thank you to everyone who helped make the event such a success — from our coaches Rory & Linda who had the girls fully prepared and motivated, to our referees Abbie, Kelly & John, table officials Caroline, Grace, Eileen, Callum, Maura & Brendan, staff Candice & Patrick, and caretaker Tim O’Callaghan. Your support is hugely appreciated.

With 18 games played from 9:30am to 6:30pm across Kilcummin & the Pres Gym, the tournament brought together 8 teams for a brilliant end-of-season competition. Thanks to St Brendan’s, Kenmare Kestrels, Corca Dhuibhne, Athea Vixens, St Colman’s, and St Joseph’s for taking part and contributing to such a competitive and enjoyable day.

🏆 Cup Final

Killarney Cougars 31 – St Brendan’s 19

A superb performance from our U14 Girls to win the Cup Final against a strong St Brendan’s side. Both Division 1 teams came into the final undefeated, and after falling short against the same opposition during the regular season, the girls produced a fantastic display to take the title.

🛡 Shield Final

Athea Vixens defeated St Joseph’s in an exciting and closely contested final.

A brilliant way to close out the season for this group — a credit to the players, coaches, and the entire club 🔴🔵
