One of the oldest road races in Ireland takes place every St. Stephen's day.

Our Road Race is not just for elite athletes and is very much a family event. No family typifies this as much as the Pierse family who over the years have made this part of their Christmas tradition.. Old and young are always present and once again 3 generations of the family will attend on the day. Their matriarch Olive Pierse will once again be at the finish line to present the winning lady with the Fr. O'Donnchadhu trophy which they kindly sponsored some time back. Last year it was presented to Olympic Michelle Finn

Last entries taken at 9.00am on the day of the race. Online entries only.
Race Numbers can be collected from 10.30am at the Farranfore GAA Grounds.
Ample parking available, no parking along road-side
Race Start is beside Kerry Group Mill on Farranfore to Firies Road. Road will be closed for duration of race.
Free 2K fun run starts at 11.00 am.
5K race starting at 12.15 pm sharp.
Refreshments after in the Community Hall at the GAA pitch.
