A whole community has been rocked by the heartbreaking death of a wonderful young man, TJ, whose life was tragically cut far too short.

A son, grandson, brother, friend and teammate, TJ leaves behind so many people who knew and loved him. No words can truly express the pain of such a devastating loss.

Everyone at North Meath RFC extends our deepest condolences to TJ’s family, friends and teammates, especially all those in Ultans GFC and Bohermeen Celtic, who are no doubt reeling from this terrible news.

It just wants to know: Can you catch it? Can you run with it? And can you get back up when someone absolutely flattens you? 😂

Whatever your results today, be proud of yourselves, enjoy the celebrations and remember that life is a lot bigger than a few numbers on a page.

The under 14s are back at it this weekend! New members welcome!

🏉 SEMI-FINALS BOUND! 🇮🇪🔥

What a few days it has been! Henry and the team have battled their way through an incredible tournament and have now secured their place in the semi-finals! 💪👏

Tomorrow morning it’s France 🇫🇷 at 8am — and after that, they’ll be heading into either the Final 🏆 or the Bronze Medal match 🥉.

Whatever happens from here, what an achievement. The effort, teamwork, determination and sheer commitment from these lads has been fantastic to watch. ❤️

They’ve made memories that will stay with them for a long time, and we couldn’t be prouder.

One more big push tomorrow, lads! Bring it home! 🇮🇪☘️🏉

These fierce bunch of U14s are pulling out all the stops to raise funds for their Spanish trip — and they’re showing some serious commitment along the way! 👏

Today they were out in Moynalty Steam Thrashing, doing a sterling job helping with car parking and adding another few euro to their trip fund. 🚗💶

It’s brilliant to see them putting in the hard work, supporting each other and taking responsibility for raising the money to make their Spanish adventure happen. 🇪🇸☀️🏉
