Current Shape, Diet & Training 👇
I haven’t shared this for a few years - so here we go…
I lift weights at least 3 days a week all year round - including holidays, Summer & Xmas
I also do some type of walking, running & cycling weekly
Breakfast - fruit, local honey & a protein shake
Lunch - rice, veggies, tuna or chicken
Dinner - potato or noodles, veggies, steak or chicken
I eat healthy 90% of the time
Something I was thinking about a lot over the last few days
I haven’t missed a full week of exercise since March 2016
(Longest ever run streak - 546 weeks straight)
I’ve done some type of cardio & weights every single week
No matter where in the World I am or what’s going on in my life - it gets done
If you work in a gym, of course it’s going to be easier
But I’ve also battled with a lot of life’s obstacles over the last few years…
I moved house & we had 2 little girls
I was running a business & studying to get 2 new qualifications
I went through an incredibly stressful period after being closed down during the Pandemic
We made the big move into our new facility last year which brought many new challenges
I was also battling through the toughest period of my life after losing a number of childhood friends - including two of my closest
Like most people’s lives - it’s been an absolute rollercoaster
For me - it’s the weekly self care that keeps me together
If I have just 2-3 unhealthy days in a row - I start getting tired, sluggish & negative
If I stay persistent in my normal routine - weights, cardio, meditation & healthy eating
I stay calm, sharp, positive & energetic - not all the time, but most of the time
If I could pass on one key tip to people - it’s this…
Don’t stop taking care of yourself when life gets busy or chaotic
It’s 100% your responsibility to look after your body, mind & health - nobody else can do it for you
Your weekly habits are the foundation for a healthier happier life - go build it
Hope that helps someone 🤝
