A busy weekend of Trophy hauling for GSC. Well done all our Junior sailors in completing the Junior Sunday series. Congratulations to Darcy Maguire and Óisin Brennan 1st in the RS trophy and Ronan and Julia Donnelly 1st in the Brian Emerson sundry trophy.

Our traveling RS sailors went to Killaloe and came back with 1st Junior Sean Hanley, Travelers trophy Sean and Cian Hanley. 2nd in the RS400 Sean and Analise Cleary and 1st master Frank O’Rourke.

Saturday 8th August saw a full house for our Annual Summer Party, following a gusty afternoon out on the water!

A huge thank you to Martina Sheerin for the fabulous catering, and to our brilliant in-house DJ for keeping the tunes going 🎶💃🕺

Most importantly, thank you to everyone who bought tickets, came along and helped make it such a fantastic family-friendly event — your support means so much to our club. ❤️

What a day! A huge congratulations to all our sailors for making a cracking day on and off the water for the Commodore’s cup. While we didn’t get the full 6 hours out under sail due to the wind not matching the sunshine, the buzz around the club was fantastic. A huge thanks to all the organisers and volunteers especially those who facilitated on the water, you had a very busy day. A special mention to the social committee and catering team who made sure everyone was well looked after ashore. We are looking forward to the rest of the season and hope to see everyone again soon.
