Yesterday, our younger underage members had a very enjoyable afternoon at Smugglers Cove .

Unfortunately, due to deteriorating weather conditions at Nairn, the reminder of the race programme is been cancelled and placings will determined based on this morning's time trials.

Jack was denied victory by literally a hairs breadth and we await Gabrielles result.

A massive well done to the boat handling crew of Jeff, Martin and Niamh for showing tremendous skill under the adverse conditions.

Enjoy the Hog roast guys, have a wee dram of the good stuff and have a safe trip home.

Best of luck to Jack & Gabrielle, who will be representing Ireland in the Home International Rowing Beach Sprint Regatta in Scotland on Saturday. 🇮🇪

Jack and Gabrielle will compete against the best u23 Beach Sprinters from England, Scotland and Wales at the regatta.

We also congratulate Jeff O'Donoghue , Head Coach and Martin Hehir, Manager of Team Ireland for the event. 🇮🇪
