This is what I mean when I say it can be a lot easier than you think to get lean & healthy in midlife!
And because I know you’ll ask, here’s the exact breakfast I’m eating (it’s an old favourite)👇
Strawberry Chocolate Overnight Oats
388 calories | 31g protein | 46g carbs | 7g fat
Ingredients — 1 serving
• 1 tsp vanilla extract
• 70g strawberries
• 120g plain Skyr yoghurt
• 15g chocolate whey protein
• 40g whole rolled oats
• 1 McVitie’s Milk Chocolate Digestive biscuit
• 80ml unsweetened almond milk
Method
Combine the oats, yoghurt, protein powder, milk and vanilla extract in a bowl. Chop and mix through half of the strawberries. Transfer to a jar and refrigerate overnight.
In the morning, crumble the biscuit over the top and add the remaining strawberries.
Enjoy!

Don’t resist the cravings. Satisfy them with something balanced - then you truly can have your cake and eat it!
BANANA CHOC CHIP MUFFINS
199 Calories
Protein 15g, Carbs 20g, Fat 7g
Ingredients for 3 servings (double it to make 6!)
50 g (1.76 oz) Whole Rolled Oats
½ tsp Baking powder
20 g (0.71 oz) Chocolate chips
100 g (3.53 oz) Skyr Icelandic-Style Yoghurt Plain
1 large egg Egg whole raw
½ medium (7” to 7-7/8” long) Bananas raw
½ tbsp Peanut butter smooth with salt
22 g (0.78 oz) Whey Protein Vanilla Flavour
Directions
1. Preheat the oven to 180C.
2. Add all ingredients except the choc chips to a blender or food processor and blend until smooth.
3. Pour the mixture into deep muffin cases then add choc chips and push them down a bit into the mixture.
4. Bake for 18 minutes until golden on top. Enjoy!
