NATIONAL CADET CHAMPIONSHIPS 2026 🥊🔥

What an incredible weekend for Enniscorthy Boxing Academy! 💚💛

We travelled to the National Cadet Championships with three boxers:
🥊 Conor Carley
🥊 Joshua Delaney
🥊 Charlie Dixon

Friday Night
Joshua Delaney got us off to the perfect start with a fantastic performance, earning a well-deserved victory and progressing to the semi final.👏

Saturday Night
Joshua was back in action against a very tough opponent. He boxed brilliantly once again and gave absolutely everything, but unfortunately was pipped by the narrowest of margins by the eventual gold medalist. A performance to be proud of! 💪

Sunday – Finals Day 🏆

Charlie Dixon stepped into the ring against a highly talented European champion in the National Final. Charlie showed tremendous heart, determination and skill, digging deep to produce a superb performance and claim the National Cadet Title! 🥇🏆

With all the hard work and preparation done Conor Carely turned up on Finals day to receive a walkover, claiming the National Cadet Title.

Both gold medalists eagerly await their invitation to the National squad training camp.

Another busy week of training as we continue our preparations for the upcoming National Cadet Championships. 💪🥊

There’s still plenty of work to do, so it’s back to the gym for another busy week as we keep pushing forward. 👊🔥

🥊 Monkstown Box Cup – Day 2 (Finals) 🥊

What a fantastic day for the club, with two of our boxers competing in the finals and giving it everything they had.

🥈 Up first was Joshua Delaney, who faced a very strong opponent. Joshua boxed well and came away with a silver medal on this occasion. Well done, Joshua – onwards and upwards! 👏🏻👏🏻

🥇 Next up was Charlie Dixon, who took on a tough opponent from Scotland 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿. Charlie produced an excellent performance from start to finish and was rewarded with a unanimous decision victory, bringing home the gold medal. fantastic achievement. Congratulations, Charlie! 👏🏻🥊🏆

We are incredibly proud of all our boxers and coaches for their hard work, commitment, and dedication throughout the tournament. Your efforts continue to do the club proud.
