Trying out something different - we have moved our Derry Rovers & Acorn FFA sessions to Mondays 7-8pm in StMarys Hall for a bit of indoor football / basketball / exercise with some fun rolled in...if you are interested in joining or have been with us previously and would like to join back in, DM us and we can pass on the schedule. This is primarily for ages 12 and up.....see previous Sports4All post for younger...

Fantastic Christmas night out for players & coaches tonight in and then onto the pub, now that we have a few young “adults” with the club…..we are super proud of these young men, many of whom have been with us since our start in 2015….wishing everyone a very Merry Christmas!!

From our friends in : this coming Saturday 9th November there is a talent day in Mucklagh, just outside Tullamore. It is for players with Down Syndrome to show their skills playing futsal. It is taking place on Saturday 9th of November between 3pm and 4pm in Mucklagh Community Centre.
Futsal is similar to Football and is a 5-a-side game played indoors, with a smaller, heavier ball on a smooth surface. Team players are made up of both boys and girls. The indoor nature of it is very ideal for Irish winters.

Big thanks to all from .united.afc and who travelled to Derry Rovers for matches today - we got in just before Storm Ashley took hold (although we did have a goals go over once or twice!!). Well done to all players, both in the Junior & Senior matches today.
