Meet Your Local Heroes!
We are delighted to be hosting the Autism Friendly Summer Event at Dungarvan Rugby Club on Sunday, 6th September, in collaboration with Autism Friendly Dungarvan. The event will give children with autism and additional needs the opportunity to meet and become familiar with local everyday heroes, sporting heroes, emergency services and healthcare professionals in a relaxed, sensory friendly and welcoming environment. We are also delighted to have athletes who have received Special Olympics medals this year joining us on the day.

The event is now fully booked, and we are really looking forward to welcoming everyone to the club for what promises to be a very special afternoon. A quiet space will be available, along with family activities, allowing children to meet, explore, learn and connect at their own pace. We are delighted that Dungarvan Rugby Club can provide a welcoming space for this wonderful community initiative. 💙🏉

Well done to Kenneth O’Brien who lined out for Munster u18’s clubs yesterday against Ulster in Virgin Media Park. Both sides were well matched but Munster came through in the end with the final score 34-33.

Well done to Caitriona Conroy who had a great game against Connacht in the U18s match today. Connacht winning in the end in a very competitive match🏉🏉. Munster now through to the interprovincial final next weekend in Mullingar RFC against Leinster 👏👏.

The members of Dungarvan Rugby Club's winning cup teams of the 1980s are organising a special reunion to celebrate their achievements and the memories they created together.
