Well done to our U7 Quay Celtic team, who hosted Bellurgan in Clancy Park today. Some great football was played by our future stars! ⭐️⚽️

Quay Celtic 6-2 Blayney
Our u14s welcomed blayney to Clancy park last night in which was a very entertaining game in the lsgl cup .
Blayney started on the front foot and pushed Quay back early on .
Kate McKeon opened the scoring for Quay but Blayney equalised just before half time when Emily Moen scored a cracking free kick from 25 yards

Quay started the half on the front foot and the pressure led to Annabelle Mc Gee strike giving the home team the lead . The very impressive Niamh O’Sullivan for Blayney scored from 20 yards to make it 2-2
Blayney’s equaliser seemed to burst Quay into life . Two quick goals again from Annabelle McGee and goal of the season contender from Holly Halpin eased quay ahead . Kate Mc Keon riffled a superb goal to make it 5-2 . With the last kick of the game a well worked corner was headed in by Mc Keon complete her hatrick
Credit to blayney who never stopped all game and most of the team playing a couple of years out of there age 💪

Albion 0-3 Quay Celtic
Our u14s travelled to Albion Sunday morning came away with a brillant win.
Aoibheann O’Connor opened the scoring with a brillant goal after a well worked move . Annabelle McGee made it 2 nil before HT with a fabulous 25 yard free kick.
Albion pushed forward in the 2nd half but a strong performance by Cara Bingham and Annie Campbell kept Albion out.
Freya Kerrigan with another stunning strike from 30 yards finished the scoring as quay ran out 3-0 winners .
