Well done to our Dundalk players who represented the Leinster North East against the Midlands in the Shane Horgan Cup. πŸ‘βš«βšͺ

The North East started brightly and battled right to the end, eventually going down 21–15.

Representing Dundalk were Jamie O'Hagan, Alex Gray, Jonah Moore, Cian Cunningham, Jacob Hamill and Carl Laverty, with Donnacha Lyons travelling as sub.

A special mention to Alex Gray, who captained the North East side. πŸ’ͺ

πŸ‘ Well done, girls!

Congratulations to Dundalk RFC’s Milita Valteryte, Lauren Shevlin and Anna Cosgrove, who all started for Leinster U18s in their 39–27 victory over Ulster, making a great contribution to the win.

The girls now face Munster in the Interprovincial Final this Saturday in Mullingar.

Our Senior Men travelled to Portadown RFC on Saturday as preparations continue for the start of the league campaign.

It was an entertaining, high-scoring game and another opportunity to renew the long-standing tradition between our two clubs, from pre-season friendlies to the Nutty Crust competition.

The T Rainey Cup was also taken out and dusted down for the occasion.

Wishing Portadown RFC the very best of luck for the season ahead.

πŸ‰ Congratulations to our very own Tommy Campbell! πŸ‰

We are absolutely delighted to congratulate Tommy on being nominated for the SΓ©an O’Brien Hall of Fame.

For almost 60 years, Tommy has been a rock and one of the great servants of Dundalk Rugby Club.

From playing rugby at scrum-half and working his way into the 1st XV, to representing Leinster Juniors, Tommy has given so much to the club. He was also a formidable coach, helping to develop and bring many young players through the Street League.

Following his playing career, Tommy went on to run the club bar and nightclub, which became one of the busiest nightclubs in the North East.

And Tommy’s service to the club didn’t stop there. He is still the manager at DRFC, looking after the bars, maintenance, pitch line painting and, as always, being the go-to person for just about everything.

Tommy is the mortar that keeps the bricks of the club together. His dedication, hard work and loyalty to Dundalk Rugby Club over so many decades is truly remarkable.

Thank you, Tommy, for giving your life in service to DRFC.

This nomination is thoroughly deserved. Congratulations, Tommy, we’re all very proud of you! πŸ‘πŸ‰

As the new season approaches, preparations around the club are well underway.

Our first pitch has been drained, while all pitches have been reseeded and sanded to ensure they're in top condition for the season ahead.

Work is also progressing on our new walking track, and a new fence is being installed around the first pitch. We're also dressing and seeding all newly formed embankments as part of the ongoing improvements.

A huge thank you to Phil Halpin, Barry King, and the entire team for their hard work and dedication. Your efforts are greatly appreciated and are helping ensure our facilities are ready for another great season.

Pictured left to right: Anna Cosgrove, Milita Valteryte and Lauren Shevlin.

A fantastic achievement for all three players, and a proud moment for their families, coaches and everyone at the club. Congratulations girls! πŸ‘
