Having kids should never be the reason you CAN’T get in shape
Sometimes they’re the biggest reason to start
When I first spoke to Paul he told me
“I want to be more interactive with my kids and family now and in years to come”
And then something that really stuck with me
“I need to give my wife and kids a happier me”
Paul knew something had to change
Work was stressful
Sleep with young kids wasn’t exactly perfect 😂
His job was sedentary
Energy was low
And when you’re constantly knackered, making good decisions becomes considerably harder
But Paul isn’t a 21 year old with unlimited time to train and meal prep
He’s a husband
A dad
And a busy professional
So there was absolutely no point coaching him like one
We built the plan around the life he actually had
2-3 efficient gym sessions each week
Scheduled walking to increase his daily movement
Nutrition that gave him structure and energy during the week
And enough flexibility to enjoy his weekends with Debbie without feeling like he was fu***ng everything up
There was compromise
Of course there was
Because getting leaner wasn’t the only thing that mattered
Being a good husband
Being present with his kids
Enjoying his life
Those things mattered too
So instead of chasing perfection we focused on consistently implementing the habits that gave Paul the biggest return
And those small actions compounded
22KG DOWN 🔥
Over 3½ stone
Leaner than ever
Stronger than ever
More energy
And most importantly, more capable of being the husband and dad he wanted to be
But my favourite part?
This wasn’t a 12 week transformation followed by putting everything back on
Paul has been with us for nearly TWO YEARS
Still training
Still implementing the habits
Still getting results
Paul started because he wanted longevity
Not just a smaller number on the scales
And nearly two years later I think it’s fair to say he’s building exactly that

When James first reached out, he wanted to feel proud of the man looking back at him in the mirror
But this was about much more than losing weight
He’d lost his dad
His partner had become unwell with dementia
Stress was through the roof
Sleep was all over the place
And food had become one of the ways he coped with everything life was throwing at him
Binge eating
Sugar
Starting again
Falling off
Starting again
He told me
“I don’t want to live with regrets anymore. Life is too short”
The problem wasn’t that James didn’t want to change
He was trying to change while carrying an unbelievable amount outside the gym
And physically we weren’t exactly starting with a blank canvas either 😂
A torn shoulder
Plantar fasciitis
No real training structure
No consistent nutrition habits
So we didn’t chase perfection
We built something he could keep doing when life inevitably got difficult
Training became structured
Nutrition became something he could manage around normal life
10k+ steps became routine
Walks gradually became runs
Birthdays, BBQs and weekends stopped automatically becoming reasons to start again Monday
And when binge urges appeared, we worked through them instead of allowing one difficult moment to become a difficult week
Slowly his body changed
But something much bigger changed alongside it
James stopped quitting
He’s hit PBs in the gym
Started running
Built a completely different relationship with food
Stopped allowing the scales to dictate how he felt about himself
And recently said something that would’ve felt miles away when we started
“I’m in the best shape of my life”
Then after having a burger on a day out he messaged me
“No regrets”
That might actually be my favourite part
Because James didn’t start this wanting another diet
He wanted to feel proud of himself
To look in the mirror and like what he saw
To stop living with regrets
And after everything life has thrown at him
That’s exactly what he’s building ❤️

What happens after the transformation?
That’s the part you don’t see enough of
I’ve coached Niki for FIVE years now
And if I posted her 2021 before and after, you’d probably think that was the success story
She was working ridiculous hours between her 9-5 and the family business
Energy was low
She’d tried short-term fixes before but nothing ever really stuck
So initially the goal was pretty simple
2021: Lose some body fat and get her energy back
We created structure around food, movement and training that actually worked around her life
And she got results
But that’s where this story gets interesting
Because Niki never stopped raising the bar
2022: Get stronger and build muscle
She stopped seeing training as something she did purely to burn calories and started seeing what her body was capable of
2023: Run a marathon AND get into photoshoot condition
Two completely different challenges
Both ticked off
2024: Enter the HYROX era 😂
Another step outside her comfort zone
More running
Different training
New weaknesses exposed and worked on
2025: Become an athlete
And I don’t use that word lightly
The woman who originally came to me wanting to lose some body fat was now actively chasing performance
Training with purpose
Competing
Setting bigger targets
Doing things that would’ve seemed fu***ng ridiculous to 2021 Niki 😂
That’s what I’ve loved most about coaching her
Every year I’ve watched her raise her own standards
Not because she hates the person she currently is
But because every version of her has shown her what’s possible next
Fat loss gave her confidence
Confidence allowed her to chase strength
Strength opened the door to performance
Performance gave her the confidence to compete
And somewhere along the way
”I want to lose some weight” became “I wonder what else I’m capable of?”
That’s what five years of progress actually looks like
Not endlessly dieting
Not maintaining one transformation photo forever
And I genuinely can’t wait to see where she moves the goalposts next ❤️

Do you ever feel like the effort you’re putting in doesn’t match how you look and feel?
That was Seán
And Seán definitely wasn’t lazy
He was already training several times a week
Getting his steps
Eating what he thought was a pretty balanced diet
But despite all that effort
His results didn’t reflect it
There was another interesting part to this one though
Seán was actually my FIRST proper online client
I’d coached some of his mates in person
But there was one fairly substantial problem with doing the same with him 😂
He lived in Dubai
So for the first time we had to prove we could get someone a great result without ever actually being in the gym beside them
And Seán was the perfect guinea pig 😂
Because he didn’t need someone shouting at him to work harder
He needed clarity
We stripped away the stuff that wasn’t moving the needle
Gave his training actual structure
Built his nutrition around his work and social life
And made it really fu***ng obvious what he needed to focus on each week
Suddenly all that effort started pulling in the same direction
And within a couple of months Seán had made more progress than he felt he’d made in YEARS trying to figure it out himself
Leaner
Stronger
More confident
Without training more or fitness taking over his life
Seán’s transformation taught both of us something
For him?
Working harder wasn’t the answer
Having the right direction was
And for me?
It proved that great coaching didn’t require someone standing beside you counting your reps
It required the right plan, support and accountability
Seán became Biofitness client number ONE
Quite a lot has happened since 😂
But this is where online coaching started🙏

Parents, this one’s for you 👇
I’m looking for 6 busy parents who want to lose 5-10kg over the next 90 days
But there’s a catch…
I don’t want you spending your life in the gym
I don’t want you eating chicken and broccoli while the rest of the family has dinner
And I definitely don’t want fitness becoming another full-time job you somehow have to squeeze into an already packed week
Because most parents I speak to don’t struggle because they don’t care
They struggle because they’re trying to follow plans that were never designed for their life in the first place
Work is busy
The kids need you
Sleep isn’t always perfect
Weekends happen
And somewhere along the way, looking after yourself keeps getting pushed further down the list
That’s exactly what we’re going to change
Over the next 90 days we’ll build a plan around YOUR life that helps you
🔥 Lose 5-10kg
💪 Get fitter and stronger
⚡ Get your energy back
👕 Feel comfortable in your clothes again
🧠 Stop constantly starting over every Monday
Without banning the foods you enjoy or sacrificing the time you want to spend with your family
No crash diets
No ridiculous meal plans
No living in the gym
Just a clear plan, proper support and a structure you can actually stick to when life gets busy
Because the goal isn’t just to lose weight for 90 days
It’s to finally learn how to keep it off afterwards
If you’re a parent who’s spent long enough putting yourself at the bottom of the list and you’re ready to change that
Message me I’M IN and I’ll send you all the details 🙌

Úna has always loved a challenge
She’s the type of person who wants to see what she’s capable of
GAA
Gym
Events
If there was something to work towards she’d throw herself into it
But when she reached out...
Fat loss had started to feel much harder than it should
The scales weren’t moving
Her energy was inconsistent
And despite training hard she wasn’t seeing the return for the effort she was putting in
The goal wasn’t to train more
It was to finally feel leaner
Have consistent energy
And feel confident in her own skin again
The gap wasn’t work ethic
Úna already had plenty of that
The gap was trying to out-train a problem that needed
solving outside the gym
So instead of adding more...
We simplified everything
Built structure into her nutrition
Focused on habits she could repeat every week
And stopped chasing perfection whenever life got busy
The progress wasn’t instant
Some weeks tested her patience
Some weeks felt slower than she’d have liked
But she stayed consistent instead of constantly changing direction
The result...
18.2kg lost
More energy
More confidence
A routine that actually fits around her life
The best part...
Once fat loss became predictable instead of chaotic
Her performance improved naturally
Now she’s taking on challenges because she wants to...
Not because she’s trying to earn her results
That’s sustainable progress
And she’s only getting started

Yep, you’re right. I didn’t cut aggressively enough. Let’s give ourselves plenty of breathing room under 2,200, while keeping the actual story.
Feel like you’ve tried everything?
⠀
Given it your all only to end up burnt out and frustrated?
⠀
That was Emma
⠀
And effort definitely wasn’t the problem
⠀
Emma is one of the most driven people I’ve ever coached
⠀
Give her a goal and she wants to fu***ng WIN 😂
⠀
Unfortunately she’d spent years applying that mentality to restrictive diets
⠀
And initially they worked
⠀
Weight came off
⠀
Until eventually the wheels came off too
⠀
Her relationship with food got worse
⠀
Social occasions caused anxiety
⠀
Money disappeared on fat loss supplements
⠀
Energy was through the floor
⠀
And eventually the cost wasn’t just psychological
⠀
Emma collapsed at work and ended up in hospital
⠀
That could’ve been another moment where she decided she’d failed
⠀
Instead she drew a line in the sand
⠀
She wanted to become confident, capable and healthy without fitness consuming her life
⠀
When Emma eventually reached out it became obvious she didn’t need another extreme plan
⠀
She needed somewhere better to direct all that drive
⠀
So rather than asking her to try harder
⠀
We taught her when NOT to
⠀
Training became about progression rather than punishment
⠀
Nutrition had enough structure to get results without dominating her life
⠀
Recovery became important
⠀
Because the goal wasn’t to make Emma brilliant at following another diet
⠀
It was to make sure she eventually didn’t need one
⠀
And the physical transformation is fu***ng class
⠀
But it’s becoming the least interesting part
⠀
She’s rebuilding her relationship with food
⠀
We’re easing away from tracking
⠀
She’s stronger
⠀
Fitter
⠀
More confident
⠀
And the woman whose pursuit of fitness once contributed to putting her in hospital now works in the fitness industry helping others improve theirs
⠀
That’s some turnaround ❤️
⠀
Emma didn’t need more motivation
⠀
She needed a better direction for all the effort she was already willing to give
⠀
I’m proud of how far she’s come

Getting leaner whilst improving performance?
Simple
Not easy
⠀
But that was exactly what Laura wanted
⠀
And Laura definitely didn’t need convincing to train 😂
⠀
Training was already a massive part of her life
⠀
She loved it and had a brilliant community around her
⠀
Honestly, if she didn’t have a job I reckon she’d train all day 😂
⠀
But there was a frustrating problem
⠀
For all the effort she was putting in, she knew there was more in the tank
⠀
She wanted to perform better
⠀
She wanted her first pull up
⠀
And despite training consistently, she couldn’t shift the extra bodyweight she was carrying
⠀
I still remember our first call
⠀
Laura described herself as someone who would “always be a big girl”
⠀
That stuck with me
⠀
Because she’d built significantly more muscle than the average person through years of training
⠀
But getting leaner could unlock another level of performance
⠀
And the answer definitely wasn’t MORE training 😂
⠀
The gap was everything happening outside the gym
⠀
So we created structure around her nutrition
⠀
Improved her daily habits
⠀
Made sure she was fuelling her training properly
⠀
Created the deficit needed to get leaner
⠀
And still made room for a social life
⠀
Because the goal wasn’t simply to make Laura lighter
⠀
It was to make her a better athlete
⠀
And I wish every client had Laura’s attitude 😂
⠀
She calls a spade a spade
⠀
Gives everything her best effort
⠀
And if something isn’t working, we find another way
⠀
The result?
⠀
🔥 16.5kg down
⠀
🏃♀️ First ever 10k
⠀
💪 Better performances in the gym
⠀
🔥 And her first pull up
⠀
Something that once felt miles away became one rep
⠀
Then one became multiple
⠀
But my favourite part is thinking back to the woman who told me she’d “always be a big girl”
⠀
Laura didn’t need to become someone who loved exercise
⠀
She already was
⠀
We just needed everything outside the gym to match the effort she was putting in inside it
⠀
Get leaner
⠀
Fuel properly
⠀
Perform better
⠀
That was the plan
⠀
And Laura delivered 🔥

When Niall first reached out he wasn’t just looking to lose weight
⠀
He was fu***ng exhausted but didn’t see a clear way out
⠀
Work felt hard
⠀
Family life felt harder
⠀
Football felt harder (he used to be good apparently)
⠀
He was carrying an extra 18kg and trying to manage his diabetes while regularly dealing with crashes in energy
⠀
He knew things needed to change
⠀
But he wasn’t convinced he could actually stick to it
⠀
Meal prep sounded like a ballache
⠀
Training had no structure
⠀
Sleep wasn’t great
⠀
Work was chaotic
⠀
And family life wasn’t going to disappear while he got himself in shape
⠀
Niall didn’t need another plan that only worked when life was perfect
⠀
He needed something that could survive when it wasn’t
⠀
So that’s what we built
⠀
We gave his nutrition structure and made meal prep realistic
⠀
We built training around his body, schedule and a groin injury
⠀
We worked on sleep, recovery and stress
⠀
And when nights on the truck, sick kids, moving house, holidays, BBQs and parties showed up
⠀
We adapted
⠀
We didn’t start again
⠀
Because Niall didn’t need to become perfect
⠀
He needed to become consistent
⠀
And f**k me did it work 😂
⠀
🔥 18.2kg down
⠀
🔥 Completely transformed his body shape
⠀
🔥 Diabetes better controlled
⠀
🔥 Meal prep became normal
⠀
🔥 First 5k completed
⠀
🔥 Multiple running PBs
⠀
🔥 15km conquered
⠀
🔥 Stronger and fitter
⠀
🔥 First ever photoshoot
⠀
The 18.2kg is impressive
⠀
But it doesn’t tell the full story
⠀
This wasn’t just weight lost
⠀
It was energy gained
⠀
Resilience built
⠀
Confidence earned
⠀
And proof that you don’t need your life to calm down before you start looking after yourself
⠀
Niall is now the leanest, fittest and happiest he’s been in years
⠀
He didn’t just change his body
⠀
He changed what he believed he was capable of 🙌

Sick of feeling sick and tired
That was Martin
And in his own words, he didn’t need another diet
He needed a complete lifestyle change
Not just for himself
For his family
For his kids
For the dad and husband he wanted to be
His energy was low
His back was constantly giving him grief
His weight had crept up
And his own health had slowly fallen further down the priority list
Martin had lost weight before
The problem was the methods were always too restrictive to become his normal life
Because Martin’s problem was never that he didn’t care
He’s someone who gives everything to everyone else
And his own health always came second
Food had also become an easy source of comfort when life was stressful, tiring or busy
And apparently there was ALWAYS a reason for a Christmas dinner regardless of the month 😂
Eventually though, the cost of doing nothing became bigger than the discomfort of changing
So we didn’t give him another restrictive diet
We built the process around his actual life
Structure around food without removing everything he enjoyed
Clear weekly targets so he knew exactly what progress looked like
Training to get him stronger, moving better and help his back
And tools to navigate difficult days without food automatically becoming the answer
Week by week those changes started sn*******ng
Martin has now lost over 30kg 🔥
But reducing this transformation to weight completely misses the point
He has more energy
He moves better
He can do more with his kids
He feels in control of his health again
And he’s built a lifestyle that resembles the man, husband and dad he wanted to be when he first reached out
Losing 30kg hasn’t just potentially added years to Martin’s life
It’s added more life to those years ❤️
Man like Martin
One of the biggest transformations we’ve ever had
And one I’ll always be incredibly proud of
