Paul Parr produced a superb drive from seventh on the reverse-grid start to claim victory after on-the-road winner Dave Maguire received a five-second penalty for a jump start. The race was stopped following a crash for Barry English, with the final results reverted by one lap after the red flag. Stephen Wright completed the podium in third, while Shane Murphy set the fastest lap of the race.

Parr’s victory capped off a near-perfect weekend, extending his lead at the top of the championship standings.

Knockhill Racing Circuit 12th July 2026

Shane Murphy claimed an impressive Race 1 victory after controlling the race following an early Safety Car period, while also setting the fastest lap of the race. Pole-sitter Victor Cullen crashed at Turn 1 on the opening lap, bringing out the Safety Car for several laps. Once racing resumed, Murphy pulled clear to take the win ahead of Paul Parr, with Adrian McNally completing the podium after Mark Turley, who had held third for almost the entire race, lost the position on the final lap. Michael Cullen, delayed by technical issues before the start, recovered to finish despite starting the race late.

victor_cullenracing claimed a superb pole position in the wet at Knockhill Racing Circuit for round 7 of SEAT Supercup Ireland.

Victor switched cars this morning with his father Michael.

Paul Parr second and Shane Murphy third.
