What a way to wrap up the Phoenix FC trials. Kian Leavy, fresh from winning his first cap for Ireland v Canada in a 1-1 draw in June, swapped Montreal for Scribblestown, to call in and pass on his advise to the players, coaches and parents in attendance. An outstanding and technically gifted player, Kian spoke about his schoolboy career, moving to England to play for Reading, returning home, injuries, dealing with set backs, winning the FAI cup, and representing Ireland in what is hopefully the first of many caps. A top class player and person. Best of luck for the rest of the season Kian, and thanks for calling in. 👏👏👏👏👏

A huge thanks to Conor Kane who called into the Phoenix FC trials in Scribblestown last night. A top class professional and even better person. Unfortunately he is a little too old to old to sign up, however he shared his experiences with all the Players, Coaches and Parents in attendance. Covering off his schoolboy career, moving into LOI academy football, before becoming a professional footballer with Drogheda and Shelbourne. The ups and downs of football, injuries, dealing with set backs, winning the FAI cup final, Ronaldo or Messi etc. Also playing for Ireland underage against a few familiar faces in Trent Alexander Arnold, Rafael Leao, Alexander Isak, Viktor Gyökeres to name a few, and playing alongside Declan Rice. Day 1 of the Phoenix FC Trials completed. A huge thanks to Evan Caffrey who took time out of his busy schedule to pop up to the club. Fresh from scoring against Rovers, Evan called in for a Q&A with the players and coaches. Having won the Premier division in 2024 with Shels, Evan passed on his football journey and knowledge. Thanks again Evan and good luck for the rest of the season.

Phoenix FC are delighted to welcome Cillian Campion as GK coach for the 2026/27 season. He will work with current first team GK Sean Hawkins providing top class training sessions for our clubs Goalkeepers. Cillian is currently the number 1 for Dublin u20s and has played for Shelbourne and Longford u20s over the last few seasons. Cillian put on an excellent session on Monday with some of the clubs keepers. Welcome on board Cillian👏👏👏

A massive well done to our u10s girls team who hosted a blitz in Scribblestown on Sunday. 10 teams took part in what was an amazing day of football in the club. Great to see so many clubs visiting and enjoy the facilities and the day, with some amazing matches on show. Congratulations to Parkvilla who were deserving winners on the day, and well done to our own girls who only lost 1 match and were a huge credit to the club. Well done to Tristan and Luca for organising the blitz and Joe and Susanne for putting on the much needed refreshments on the day👏👏👏
