Choosing the right conference venue: Five things worth considering

Choosing the right conference venue isn't just about finding enough bedrooms and a meeting room.

After organising conferences and events across Ireland for more than two decades, we've learned that some of the most important factors aren't always the most obvious. Here are five things we encourage every client to consider before making a final decision.

1. How will your delegates actually get there?

A venue with excellent rail links or motorway access can make a significant difference to attendance, delegate experience and sustainability objectives.

2. Does the meeting space suit your agenda?

A room that works perfectly for a theatre-style conference may not be suitable for workshops, exhibitions or networking sessions.

3. What happens outside the meeting room?
