🏆⚡ What a weekend of Powerchair Football!

A fantastic weekend at the Remembrance Cup and Marc Bigger Memorial Cup, with some brilliant football, great competition and, most importantly, an amazing spirit throughout the tournament.

We’re incredibly proud of Lightning PFC, who finished 2nd after a fantastic weekend! 👏⚡

A huge congratulations to our own Ellie Brown, who picked up the Best Goalkeeper – Golden Guard Award! 🧤🏆 What an achievement! 💙

⚡ LIGHTNING STRIKES ⚡ – MATCHDAY RESULTS

Another huge weekend in the 2025/2026 AIPF Championship with the squad showing incredible determination and character right to the very end 💪

🔥 Lightning Strikes 1–1 Midlands Utd Thunder
⚽ A massive late equaliser from a corner by James earned a deserved point after a hard-fought battle against a top side.

🔥 Lightning Strikes 1–0 M and F Strikers
⚽ Bobby Moore struck late to secure another huge three points for the team!

Two very tough games tested the squad this weekend, but the players never stopped fighting and showed brilliant belief and teamwork throughout 👏

Credit to both opponents for two competitive matches played in great spirit 🤝

Still unbeaten and continuing to push at the top of the table ⚡

Proud of every player — we keep working, keep believing, and keep moving forward together ⚡💚
