Tomorrow evening, Ireland will get a rare opportunity to witness a partial solar eclipse, with up to 98% of the Sun covered in parts of the country.
It’s an incredible sight, but there’s one safety message everyone should remember: 👀 Protect your eyes.
Regular sunglasses are not safe for viewing an eclipse. Looking directly at the Sun can cause serious and permanent eye damage, even when the Sun appears mostly covered.
Don’t wait until you can see the danger to take safety seriously.
Stay safe. Enjoy the eclipse. 🌑☀️

This August Bank Holiday, thousands of people will be travelling to see family, enjoy a break, or spend time with friends. We want everyone to make it home safely.
So far this year, 105 people have lost their lives on Irish roads. That's 105 families whose lives have been changed forever.
If you're driving this weekend, please:
• Slow down.
• Put your phone away.
• Wear your seatbelt.
• Never drive after drinking or taking drugs.
It only takes one poor decision to change everything.
Wherever you're heading this Bank Holiday, take your time, be patient with other road users, and look out for one another. The people waiting for you at home would rather you arrive late than not at all.
From everyone at Ayrton Group, we wish you a safe Bank Holiday weekend.
