On a very sunny Wednesday afternoon the Old County juveniles played for the Juvenile Cup ,we had a worthy winner with a nett score of 46 Luke Ward.
A big thanks to our Juvenile Officer Patrick Charles who along with the great support of Christy Broe run the weekly Juvenile Wed competition.
To our ladies Ann and Monica a well desevered thank you for the great selection food set out for the Juveniles and there supporters .
There was some great pitch and putt played by the future Old County players..

During the week we had the Monica and Kevin Bermingham Mixed Stableford which was won by Vera and Ian Glennon, well done, great competition which was well supported. Its National Gents Strokeplay this weekend. We wish Stephen Murray, George McGreal, Karl Murphy, Shane Redmond and Andy Lowe the best of luck as they all head to Tullamore on Sunday, also heading in the same direction today is our Inter Derek Conway. Not forgetting our Junior Daniele Di Tofano who is also heading in a different direction to Kilbeggan the best of luck to all.

Here are the results of last weekend's Captains’ Prize competition. It was great to see so many out playing over the four days. Well done to Vera on her overall win in the Ladies’ section. Also, a big shout out to Ian Patel who successfully defended the Gents’ overall 36 nett title, and to Andy who was victorious in the overall 36 gross. Congratulations to all the winners and a big "Thank You" to everybody who played.

Lucan Pitch and Putt Club was a bountiful venue for our members last week with Stephen Murray winning the Dave Hayden Scratch Cup and Declan Costello winning in the Gents Over 55s Open, well done to both.

Thanks to all who came to our Captains and Past Captains last night, great to catch up with some old faces. Don't forget that the midweek scramble is on tonight as the annual Paddy McQuaid. Adults: €3, juveniles: free. Starting at 6:15pm. See you there!!!
