Dublin University (Trinity College) Hockey Club is a student-run men's sports club founded in 1893. It has a proud history as the oldest hockey club in Ireland.

Dublin University Hockey Club provides a unique hockey playing option to up and coming hockey players, allowing them to continue playing hockey with many like-minded people of similar age group. The club caters for all skill levels, from absolute beginner right the way up to international level. The club consists of four league teams and an under 21 side. The sides compete in Divisions 2, 3, 6 and

The Men head north to play in the Mauritius Cup on Saturday. They face and in the group stages to hopefully advance into the semis on Sunday.

RESULTS πŸ‘†

It was not to be for the Men's 1s this week, as they saw defeat against in the Mills Cup away from home. It was a tough day out for Thomas Bean's men who put in a serious shift against a quality Monkstown side. Man-of-the-match performance from Michael O'Leary, who kept the score down with a huge amount of saves.

The Men's 1s take on in the Mills Cup on Tuesday away from home in Rathdown School. The boys in green set their eyes on a place in the next round, just as they did in the Neville Cup earlier on in the season before heading to Belfast for varsities.

It was a tough weekend for the men, as both teams saw defeat.

The Men's 1s lost to at home 2-1, in a close game which saw them on the wrong side of the scoreboard. Ed Collins netted his 3rd of the season (slide 2) and a debut for Charlie Jordan. Alex Murphy picks up another man-of-the-match award after a superb effort.

For the Men's 2s, it was a loss away from home against in Kilcock. Alex O'Connor's men look to the next set of fixtures to try and bounce back in Division 4.

MATCHDAY 😀

Plenty of action today as the 2s take on far from home in Kilcock, looking to bounce back from last weeks defeat. A first appearance for Merlin Ladry for the club is to be expected as AOC's men seek 3 more points in Div 4.

Meanwhile at 13:00, our Men's 1s take on at home in the EY2 Qualifiers. Charlie Jordan is set to make his first appearance for the 1s today as the boys in green look to continue their unbeaten run in the qualifiers.

A great start to the week with a massive win last night for our Men's 1s away from home against in the EY2 Qualifiers. A 3-1 win with goals from John O'Hara and a first goal from Josh Baird means that they remain undefeated in the qualifiers.
