Saturday mornings don’t get much better than this ❤️ ⛰️ 🏃

A cracking morning on the trails with a great crew, taking in some of the best views Dublin has to offer. Plenty of hills, plenty of laughs and a few of the speedsters making the climbs look far too easy while us mere mortals just kept putting one foot in front of the other 😂

Fresh air, good company and miles in the legs — exactly how a Saturday morning should be.

🌒 A slightly different start to tonight’s run!

We headed up early to catch a glimpse of the solar eclipse before getting down to the usual business. 🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️

Not something you get to see every day, so we’re glad we made the trip up to take it in — and what a spot to watch it from! ⛰️☀️

A rare event ticked off… now it’s back to the hills and back to the running! 💪⛰️

Trails have a way of rewarding those who get up early. 🌲🏃

This morning’s run had everything that makes trail running special—quiet forest tracks, flowing singletrack, open mountain views and even a surprise encounter with one of the locals along the way. 🦌

Every week is different, but that’s the beauty of running in the Dublin Mountains. Fresh air, great company and miles of trails to explore.

Massey’s Estate never disappoints, and adding the Cruagh Woods loop always makes for a tougher day out on the trails. Plenty of climbs and elevation to get the legs working on an early Saturday morning, but that’s exactly what we’re here for.

A great turnout, great company, and as always, plenty of smiles along the way. Well done everyone – another brilliant morning in the Dublin Mountains.

Congratulations to our runners who were busy over the weekend taking on ultra marathons in Britain and Finland.

Mao completed the 53km Maverick North Downs Trail in England, while John travelled to Finland to take on the Ultra X 50km. Two tough trail races that neither of them shied away from.

Brilliant running from these two legends, and it’s fantastic to see the Irish Mountain Cardio colours being represented on the international trail running stage. 👏🏔️🇫🇮🇬🇧

Well done, Mao and John! 💪🖤💛

Huge thanks to Metallica for finally recognising the true home of heavy metal… the Hellfire Club. 🤘⛰️

Nice to see our training ground making the official Dublin poster. We’ll expect James Hetfield on Wednesday at 7pm for hill reps! 😂

A huge thank you to our Women in Sport Officer, for organising a fantastic weekend away for the ladies of the club. From the travel and accommodation to the stunning 4-hour trail hike around the Cooley Mountains and evening dinner, everything was planned to perfection.

Judging by all the feedback, it was a huge success. A weekend filled with great trails, breathtaking views, plenty of laughter, and even better company from start to finish.

Well done, Sue, on creating such a memorable experience for everyone involved. 👏🏔️🥾😊
