We are a competitive swimming club based in South Co. Dublin. The club is always happy to welcome new members.
Glenalbyn Swimming Club is a competitive swimming club based in South County Dublin, and affiliated to Swim Ireland. When Glenalbyn Swimming Pool was closed for renovations (and never reopened), the Club lost its home and our athletes are now training in a number of pools in the local area: DLR Monkstown and Loughlinstown pools, UCD and St.Augustine's. We currently have five different squads -

What a Wonderful day at the Leinster Open Sea 96th Island swim today. A little Choppy and certainly a swim for those who like a challenge.

Glenalbyn are very well represented in this years Island swim.
A Squad members Patrick and IzzV are sure to be some of the fastest swimmers participating.
Coaches Niamh, Cathy and Oriana are also representing and are in with every chance of winning.
Race start is at 4.15pm from the Island with the first swimmers reaching the mainland around 5pm
Swimmers are taken from Howth pier around 2.30.
Plenty of room on the beach to cheer on your Team.

A Nice day in Bray yesterday.
Leinster Open Sea Hosted a 1600m swim along the Seafront.
Paddy and Issy took part together with 3 of our Coaches; Niamh, Oriana and Cathy.
The Kids just went and won everything.
Thanks to the most supportive parents, Leinster Open Sea, the LOS Navy and the Martello for hosting a lovely reception afterwards.
Today we move to our Home Beach for another round.

A GREAT day on our Home Beach. Leinster Open Sea and Swan Leisure hosted a kids Splash and Dash together with a 1600m open water race for the bigger Kids.
