As part of our 5 mile, we will have a kids race in the morning which is open to the whole community. 🎽
Kids will get to run on our running track and there will be medals and sweets after! 🥇🍬
We will also have an all inclusive event which will see all abilities completed a lap of our track.

On the day of our Annual 5 mile race, we also have the juvenile races on the track in the morning.
There is different events for different age groups.

This year we have added an all inclusive race which will see athletes complete 1 lap of the track and it’s open to anyone who wants to do it!

A huge congratulations to Niamh and Eoin on achieving their Athletics Ireland Level 3 Coaching Qualification – an outstanding achievement.
Level 3 is one of Athletics Ireland’s most demanding coaching qualifications, requiring extensive coaching experience, advanced technical knowledge, practical assessments, and a significant commitment to continuous learning.

Their achievement is a tremendous asset to our club their expertise will continue to benefit our athletes and strengthen the quality of coaching at Lucan Harriers for years to come.

4 of our harriers competed today at the Nationals in Morton stadium today.
Kate ran the 200m and narrowly missed out on qualifying.
Izzy ran well in the 1500m and Jacob and Saoirse both ran well in the 800m.
Saoirse qualified 3rd overall and is returning for the final tomorrow which is scheduled for 6.40pm.
Well done to everyone today and best of luck to Saoirse tomorrow.
