Final Touches Being Added to the Leisure Suite Before It Opens to Members

Behind the scenes, our Leisure Suite upgrade is nearly complete, and we can't wait to welcome members in.

We've been busy installing a brand new cold plunge pool and giving our spa pool a full refurbishment, all designed to give you an even better space to relax and recover after your workout, swim, or class.

The final touches are being added now, and it's really coming together.

Thank you for your patience while we put the finishing touches on this exciting upgrade; we think it'll be well worth the wait.

To help you make the most of the summer, we've added extra Adult Swim sessions throughout the month of August only.

Additional Adult Swim sessions for August:
🏊 Monday: 7pm–8pm
🏊 Tuesday: 7pm–8pm & 8pm–9pm
🏊 Wednesday: 8pm–9pm
🏊 Thursday: 7pm–8pm
🏊 Friday: 6pm–7pm & 7pm–8pm

These additional sessions are available for August only. Our regular pool timetable will resume from September, so be sure to make the most of the extra swim times while they're here!

Please check our updated August pool timetable before visiting, as some sessions may be unavailable due to swim lessons and club bookings.

We're delighted to welcome Gaeltots to SPORTSCO from Saturday, 29th August! 🎉

Gaeltots introduces little ones to Gaelic Games through fun, play, movement, and friendship in a safe and supportive environment. It's the perfect way for children to build confidence, coordination, and a love of being active. 💙💛

We're expanding our gym!
Works will begin on Monday, 27th July, and we are delighted to say there will be no gym closure during this time, so your training doesn't have to stop!

Meet Edith!

Describe the role in your own words: I am here to greet members and visitors and assist them with anything they might need. This includes providing information, selling memberships and merchandise, booking facilities, and ensuring everyone gets to where they need to go.

Qualifications and Professional Background: Leaving Certificate (2023), training in customer service, sales, and front of house operations. I have worked in MCI Ireland doing events across the country and in F45 as part of the front of house and sales team. I am also currently studying biomedical engineering in UCD.

What do you enjoy most about the role: I love talking to new people every day and seeing everyone walk out happier after getting their blood pumping!

3 words to describe yourself: Kind, approachable, diligent

Favourite part of the facility: The padel and tennis courts, whenever I walk out there it always seems like the sun is shining.

Fun Fact: I enjoy knitting and crocheting and even make some of my own clothes.

Favourite hobby: I like playing tennis (although not very well!) and I love a nice cold dip in the sea come rain or shine.

Advice to someone new joining: Explore the facility! SPORTSCO has so much to offer and it can feel like a maze at first. Try out different areas. Visit the different courts, the pool, and the leisure suite, and take a class with one of the trainers. There’s so much more than just the gym.

What makes SPORTSCO special: I think SPORTSCO is unique in offering such a wide range of facilities and activities all in one place. The people here also make a real difference in creating a warm and welcoming environment.

How will the members benefit from your skills: I bring a friendly and approachable attitude to reception, helping members to feel welcome. With my experience in front-of-house roles, I’m confident assisting with any queries, bookings, or general support, and I always aim to make each visit as smooth and enjoyable as possible.

🧊 Exciting changes coming to the SPORTSCO Leisure Suite!
We've got two upgrades happening in the week of July 6th:

1️⃣ NEW Cold Plunge Pool 🧊
We're installing a brand new cold plunge pool in the Leisure Suite, great for post-workout recovery, circulation, and that invigorating cold water hit.

2️⃣ Spa Pool (whirlpool bath) Refurbishment 🔧
Separately, our spa pool is getting a well deserved refurb during the same week. It will be closed for approximately one week while works take place.

✅ Sauna, steam room, showers and swimming pool remain open as usual throughout.
