🇭🇺 2009 BOYS TRAINING CAMP 🇭🇺

Earlier this month, our 2009 Boys team travelled to Hungary for a training camp followed by some very competitive games against teams from Hungary, Romania and Slovakia.

This was a great opportunity for the team to train together directly ahead of competition and experience some new opponents. Well done to all involved 👏

🟢 UL TRAINING CAMP ⚪️

Last weekend saw 77 of Ireland's young players head to Limerick for training. This camp was the first step in developing a National Training Squad for players born in 2013 & 2014, and was a fantastic learning experience and exposure to structured training for these young players.

A massive thank you to all the coaches and team managers who were present on the day for supporting our young athletes, it couldn't be done without you! 👏

🇮🇪 IRELAND ON THE EUROPEAN STAGE 🇮🇪

A huge congratulations to our referee Ian Hanranhan, who proudly represented Ireland at last week's U20 European Championships in Oeiras, Portugal

Another fantastic achievement for Irish water polo and a great example of the talent we have both in and around the pool 👏

🍀 SIGNED OFF IN STYLE 🍀

Our girls finish off their U20 European Championship campaign with a 10-9 win versus Romania today, with Laura Casserly getting 5 goals along the way! This win sees the Irish finish 19th overall in the competition.

Well done to all involved across the week and the months of preparation ahead of Portugal, from staff and athletes, parents and clubs. You've done us all proud 👏

Our U20 Women's team completed their training camp ahead of their trip to Portugal in Kingfisher in Galway this week. This camp brought the entire team together for gym work, pool sessions and water polo sessions to help prepare the team for their European Championships.

Massive thank you to Joe Cosgrove and Kingfisher for their hospitality and help with getting this camp up and running 💪
