If so, Sarah, founder of Her ACL Journey, wants your help!

Sarah is gathering personal stories from athletes, coaches, and others affected by ACL injuries to help raise awareness of ACL rupture: one of the most common serious sports injuries.

An estimated TWO MILLION women and girls suffer an ACL injury every year worldwide.

If you've experienced an ACL injury yourself and would be open to sharing your story, Sarah would love to speak with you.

Our resident sports science expert, Peter Higgins, has been busy this month, presenting our world-class injury prevention research.

The project was presented not at one, but two international conferences this month!

We shared early findings from the national pilot project designed to make injury reporting more accessible for coaches at every level of the game.
Following feedback from the conferences, OHI has refined its reporting tool and launched a new joint injury surveillance project with the Scottish Handball Association.

Another step forward in building a stronger evidence base to support player welfare across handball.

We're having a party, and you're invited!

For one special evening, we're celebrating 50 years of history. 50 years of determination and passion from every single member of this community, past and present.

We're coming together to cheer the people whose devotion to the sport has made it what it is. To recognise those who've had an indelible impact. But most of all, to celebrate you - our Handball community - and the sport that we all love.

Hosted by former Ireland international Chris O'Reilly, you'll enjoy a three-course dinner, special recognition awards, a look to the future...and a few special surprises along the way.

We're also DELIGHTED to announce that we'll be joined by some very special guests on the night... stay tuned for further announcements 🤫
