🔵🔵🔵🔵 Congrats to Ger, Sheelagh, Glenda and Tracey on winning the Leinster Senior Inter County Championship for Dublin this afternoon at RGSC pitch and putt club, another fantastic achievement for the Portmarnock and Dublin ladies. Well done also to the Dublin 2 team on picking up runner up 👏👏. A big well done to Irene Reid also who continues her fine season with a strong doubles and singles performance today, next stop Navan Pitch N Putt for the ladies national inter county next month 🔵🔵🔵🔵

📸 Garry O'Connor’s Gents Captain’s Prize was held last Sunday and a fantastic day was enjoyed by all including Garry’s family. Lady Captain Mary Burke Doyle was in attendance as always to support Garry on the day, the two Captains have led the Club so well throughout an exceptional year for the Club, notably the Irish Open which will live long in the memory which Garry mentioned in his speech.

Garry also thanked Joe Sheridan’s son and his company SSI Environmental for their hugely generous sponsorship on behalf of both himself and Mary and the Club.

Another lovely day for the ladies in Portmarnock Pitch and Putt Club

Well done to our Lady Captain Mary on her lovely choice of prizes all our prize winners went home very happy indeed.

This year we introduced an initiative whereby our honorary lady members those of a mature age could play their first 18 holes on Friday and their second 18 holes on the Saturday. These ladies many of whom are past captains and who have contributed so much to the club and other clubs and to the sport in general have found it difficult at times to complete 36 holes in one day.

It paid off for our winner and a very popular winner in Eileen Foran who is long time standing member and when her name was called out members stood to applaud her win.

Well done to all who played all our prize winners and all who helped in any way to make the day a success. 👏👏

Attached are the results some photos of the competitors and a lovely photo of our Lady Captain’s family who came down to support her which I think captured the essence of the day.

I hope our gents captain Garry O Connor enjoys his day today.
