The Ireland Over 40’s team have returned from the 3rd Edition of the Triple Crown. Having lost out to the eventual winners of the tournament England Over 40s Cricket on the opening day , the team completed the tournament with two excellent wins against Wales Vets Cricket and Scotland Seniors Cricket .

Bishop's Stortford CC played host to the tournament and all players were treated to excellent playing conditions with excellent hospitality off the field.

All games were streamed and live scored, so thank you to all that were involved in making this happen.

The Triple Cown will indeed return in 2027 with Ireland looking forward to hosting the 4th edition of the competition.

Ireland O40s secured a 7-wicket win over Wales O40s yesterday.

Another standout knock from Kenny Carroll, who made 134 from 95, ably assisted by Bilal Azhar who scored 57 from 36, while Jonny Robinson (3/46) impressed with the ball.
