Today we also welcomed our 3 NPLQ renewal candidates who have started their renewal training.

It’s been a fantastic few days with a brilliant group, plenty of learning, lots of laughs, and excellent teamwork throughout.

We’ve got the next three days ahead of us as we continue preparing everyone for assessment day on Saturday. Keep working hard, stay focused, and enjoy the journey. We’re looking forward to seeing you all succeed! 💪

A fantastic first weekend on our RLSS National Pool Lifeguard Qualification course! 👏

Well done to all of the candidates who completed the first part of the course. It was great to see such enthusiasm, teamwork, and commitment throughout the weekend. 💪

We’ve covered a huge amount already, and the candidates have made a great start towards becoming qualified pool lifeguards. 🌊

We’re looking forward to welcoming everyone back for Weekend 2, where they’ll continue developing their rescue, lifeguarding, and first aid skills before their final assessments.

👏 A huge congratulations to Mark on successfully completing his co-tutoring this week on the STA Swimming Teacher Qualification alongside tutor Evan!

Throughout the course, Mark demonstrated great knowledge, professionalism, enthusiasm, and a genuine passion for developing future swimming teachers. It has been fantastic to see his confidence and tutoring skills grow throughout the process.

Mark has now successfully completed this stage of his tutor journey and is able to deliver his very first course. 🎉

I am absolutely delighted to have supported Mark on this important milestone and to see him take the next step in his aquatic education journey. I have no doubt he will be a fantastic asset to the industry and will inspire many future swimming teachers in the years ahead.

It’s been a brilliant week of learning, teaching, planning, practical sessions, and plenty of time spent in the pool developing new skills and confidence.

A huge thank you to everyone who attended and fully committed themselves throughout the course. It was great to see candidates supporting each other, sharing ideas, and developing their knowledge of teaching swimming.

A special thank you to J6 Swim for hosting the course and providing excellent facilities throughout the week. We would also like to thank tutor Evan and co-tutor Mark for their support, guidance, and expertise in helping candidates develop their swimming teaching skills.

We wish everyone the very best on their aquatic teaching journey and look forward to seeing the positive impact you’ll make in pools across Ireland and beyond! 🌊

Today we had a fantastic in-water session focusing on aquatic games, exploring how fun and engaging activities can be used to develop confidence, water skills, and swimming ability across a range of ages and abilities. 🎯💦

The candidates brought great energy to the session and demonstrated excellent teaching skills throughout the day. It has been fantastic to watch their confidence and knowledge develop over the course.

Tomorrow is the final day of the qualification, where they will complete their assessments. We wish them the very best of luck and look forward to welcoming a new group of qualified swimming teachers to the industry! 🍀🏅
