Two deserved rider highlights for their stellar Saturday performance yesterday!

John won the bunch sprint to open his account for the 2026 race season and Tom Hughes, a first year junior, beat some of the country’s best senior riders to get 🥈 in Meath!
We’ve have many other riders put in some huge performances over the past two weekends, crushing power numbers and previous best race placings.

A super tough edition of the Des Hanlon yesterday due to the weather saw both and coach take the win in the C2 and C1 races.

Tom may well be having the best start to a first year junior season we’ve seen in Ireland in a few years! 👏

We had a handful of other riders put in some very respectable and strong rides and tops 10s after such atrocious conditions for racing.

I am opening the coaching roster up to a few more riders for the next two week.
After an extremely successful opening 3 weeks to the season for my riders, clocking up 7 wins already, we are looking to build momentum and create meaningful development.
Through real world knowledge of the true demands of racing all over the world I have been able to decipher what actually matters, when it comes to going fast on a bike.

8 podium finishes in 3 weekends racing!

going 1-2 with his teammate and the lads and just behind for 3rd and 4th place.
All first year juniors with a great attitude and a bright future. C2 is already calling for these boys!
We had multiple other riders racing today picking up several top 10 placings in both Kerry and Meath.

Goes to show what type of coaching works. No glitz and glamour. No fancy media campaigns. No bu****it.
Hard work, discipline and race craft will always win.
It’s a long season ahead.
