OUR REASON WHY
We are Chiarians, GFMO team,
And this is our story, of livin the dream.

Watching my kiddos from the side of a pitch,
The love of the game sure it gave me the itch

To finally play, the game I love
With whomever was willing to wear the gaa glove

We started small with just 9 or 10
But have trebled in numbers since way back then

We have a fine coach, who thought us to play,
How to kick and hand pass and have fun on the way

It’s the craic,it’s the friendship,it’s the love of the game,
That we return each week, to play, to train

We’ve made friends for life as we continue to play
Our national sport,that is G.A.A

So if we are chosen as one of your teams, to play at croke park ,would be livin the dream

Alas if we don’t ,do not fear,
As LGFA is 50, we will still be there,
To cheer on the ladies
Who were chosen to play
At half time in Croke Park
On all Ireland day
