While most of Doonbeg sleeps, there’s a team that never stops.

By the light of machinery and vehicle headlights, our incredible greenkeeping team works through the night to ensure the course is ready for another day of the Amgen Irish Open.

Long after the crowds have gone home and the final putt has dropped, they’re out there — mowing, preparing, repairing and meticulously tending to every detail of our links.

It’s the work that happens behind the scenes, often unseen, but absolutely essential to delivering a championship of this scale.

The stage is set for an incredible Sunday at the Amgen Irish Open. 🍀⛳

Round 3 brought big crowds, brilliant golf and plenty of drama along the Clare coastline. Shane Lowry produced another outstanding performance to take a commanding four-shot lead into the final round, with Tom McKibbin still flying the flag for Ireland in the chasing pack. Spectators arrived in their thousands, making the most of the sunshine, spectacular surroundings and some truly outstanding golf on the links.

Round 1 of the Amgen Irish Open has brought world-class golf, incredible crowds and an unforgettable atmosphere to Doonbeg.

With some of the biggest names in the game taking on our links, the opening day has showcased exactly what makes this coastline so special — challenging conditions, spectacular views and golf at its very best.

And what a moment we witnessed on the 10th, as Thomas Detry produced a spectacular albatross — a rare and extraordinary feat that will may go down as one of the standout moments of the championship.
