Anne Marie went for it today at short notice-the day presented, She completed 1 mile @4.5deg at mulroy bay.. all recovered and happy..big thanks to crew Noel, Ryan adn Willie.. another milestone..

The drama continues-A mile at 6 degrees though very credible does not allow us what we seek!! we will wait and get back to Donegal when the conditions are right-I can't explain the benefits of having breakfast, lunch and dinner with Ram Barkai-I can only imagine he is exhausted from the questions.. Couldn't have wished for a better experience.-blogs soon..

All back safe and sound-super experience-challenging conditions to say the least-last 15 mins the wind lifted and we had waves over head, swallowing a lot of water-Water temp steadied at 6deg-SO we do not qualify as members of the Ice Swimming Ass-or official Ice Swim-However swimming over 30 mins in 6 deg water/42deg was wonderful, possible, super safety, super medical-learned soooo much and one degree more we're there.. Thanks for the support-we're not disappointed-we're delighted-loads to follow-

9.30am briefing with the Rescue Services and preswim brief with Ram, 10.30am pick up for deep water drop in-10.45am hope to start the swim-weather not so kind-Force 6 forecast wind-battle begins..Thanks

Spent the day rambling about-taking temperatures and checking locations.. Temps wandering about the 6deg=First year ever BUT we are ever hopeful that out in Deep water 20-30metre deep that we will pick up a cold flow.. If not then we will swim our best anyway..

Off for a little test swim with Ram & Anne Marie to Wood Quarter-Mulroy Bay. Plan is to leave Cranford tomorrow at 10.30am hope to be in the water 10.45am ..
