PROUD DAD ALERT!!! 🚨🚨👧🏼

Please bear with me while I change gears a little to tell you about the absolute rockstar that is our daughter, Alice 🤩 This weekend she has been lighting up the Rose Of Tralee as the Kilkenny Rosebud 🌹She has absolutely smashed the whole weekend with the biggest smile on her face and a huge spring in her step.

She has been helped along the way by being paired with the most stunning and kind rose in rachel walsh ♡ to guide her through her adventure 🌹They have been BFF’s 4 EVA since the moment they set eyes on each other. Coupled by her charming es**rt Conor Sheeran , rose-buddy Oisin and all of their extended families has meant we have had the best rose family we could have wished for.

Those outside of Kerry might think that the Rose of Tralee is simply a two night television show. However, to us in the Kingdom it is five-plus days of music & merriment where we celebrate the women of Ireland and the Irish diaspora all over the world. We make new friends and meet old friends again, such as former winner keely o’grady 👸🏻 who Alice has had a special bond with since they first met three years ago - and this time it was Alice who got to wear the sash!

Tonight we head up to the TV show to shout ourselves horse for Rachel with our new Kilkenny family. Wishing her & Conor the best of luck - you’ll be forever welcome here in Kerry. Up the cats! 🖤💛

Another spell of good weather goes by, and despite promises, the front of the shop remains unpainted. It is over 2 years now since we moved to Main St, and we just can’t get anyone to do the job. If you are a professional & insured painter who has a space in their diary to fit us in, please, please, please get in touch. At this point I’m considering just changing our brand colours to concrete!
