Albion Rovers F.C. Irish football club based in Monasterboice Co.Louth who compete in the Drogheda School Childrens League, Louth Schoolgirls League, NERL and NEFL. Louth.

We are a football club based in Monasterboice, Co. We have teams from Under 8's to Under 16's. Our teams compete in the Drogheda School Childrens Leauge and the North East schoolchildrens League and Our Seniors play in the North East Football League. Our Club Mission Statement is '...to promote soccer and provide the highest quality playing facilities for the South Louth catchment area...'
Our facilities include a 60m x 30m floodlit all-weather pitch, two dressing rooms, three 11-a-side pitches, one 7/9-a-side pitch and the new heart of the club Eddie's Place. Eddie's Place is the club's coffee shop which is dedicated to the late Eddie Maher who was an underage manager with the club. Eddie sadly passed away suddenly in March 2009.

Albion Rovers U16 girls lifted the league title this afternoon after a wholehearted battle with visitors Castletown Belles went the way of the home side. Captain Cora Kerr’s team have only dropped three points all season and play a lovely brand of passing football that has seen them top the table throughout this year.

⚽️🏆 *Well done to our Albion U10 girls!* 🏆⚽️

Today marked the girls’ very first tournament, as they took part in the Nettuno Cup, and what a day it was! 👏

The girls played some fantastic football throughout the group stages, with super goals, great teamwork and plenty of effort from everyone. They worked brilliantly together and deservedly earned their place in the Nettuno Cup Final.

In the final, the girls faced a very well-organised Bellurgan side, who took an early lead. The girls never gave up and continued to work hard right until the final whistle. They were unlucky not to take the game to penalties, but they can be incredibly proud of their performance. 💪⚽️

A huge well done to every player for their effort, teamwork and determination. The future is certainly bright! 🟢⚫️👏
